Today, Sonavera is a short, guided browser check that provides signed evidence of live human presence, continuity with a prior enrollment, or uniqueness within a customer-defined scope.
Sonavera does not establish government identity or decide what should happen to a user. It gives applications a stronger checkpoint for account recovery, sensitive support changes, high-value payouts, and privileged actions.
One application asks one defined question. The user completes one guided check. The application receives inspectable evidence.
We can no longer assume human presence and identity
Online identity was never perfect. But convincing human presence used to be harder to manufacture at scale. With generative AI and agentic LLMs, that has changed.
Faces and voices can be cloned, generated, or automated. Entire interactions that used to require human action can now be fully automated. We rely on systems that were never designed to establish who (or what) is actually present.
Important online actions need a trustworthy human checkpoint. That's where we come in.
The internet provides extraordinary freedoms: to explore ideas, connect without judgment, and choose how much of ourselves to reveal. That freedom is worth protecting. We should not have to trade it away.
Sonavera exists to make fraud harder without turning everyone into a suspect. We want to establish the human facts a moment actually needs, and stop there. That is our idea of a digital handshake: enough to move forward without asking people to prove more than the moment requires.
Good security should protect people as carefully as it protects systems. We never collect or store identifiers like emails, legal names, or phone numbers. We never share the human stuff: voices, faces, or raw recordings. Everyone involved has only what they need, and no more.

Collect the least sensitive information that works, retain it on a known schedule, and delete it as promised.
